Take a second to check out our awesome team! We believe that by having better coaches, we’re able to offer better camps.

Liam Upton (co-owner) AKA “Lup”
Liam has been a proud co-owner of MBM since 2018. He has a love for adventure and is an avid mountain biker, skier, skateboarder, surfer, and Enticer enthusiast. He started working at MBM in 2014 and has spent every summer at camp since.
Fun fact: Liam knows how to ride a unicycle

Scott Stirling (co-owner) AKA “Safety $cott”
Scott has been hooked on biking since he was just 5 years old. He spent 4 summers as a camper in the OG MBM Camp. Scott started working at MBM Camp in 2016 and quickly found his love for the camp once again. Scott is also a proud co-owner of MBM, taking ownership with Liam in 2018. In his free time, Scott loves to soak in the beauty of the North, whether that be camping, spending time at his family’s cabin, or getting out on the water. Scott is a jack of all trades; you can sometimes find him in the back of Overlander’s-fixing bikes, putting in work over the winter months for Ragged Riders Snowsports Club, or planning the next project with YKMTBC.
Fun fact: Scott has never had a bleeding nose

Duncan Stewart AKA “Dunkeroo”
Duncan is longtime MBM member who has spent 7 summers as a camper, followed by 2 summers volunteering, and has been coaching ever since. Donkey has a contagious energy that makes everyone want to ‘send it’ just as hard as he does. In his free time you can find him shredding guitar with his friends, creating a band, kneeboards, and trail builds. Duncan is currently attending Grant MacEwan University.
Fun fact: Duncan can ride on his handlebars bucking bronco style!
Kiran Ray
Kiran is another MBM camper-turned-coach. Kiran has been sending it from the beginning on his Norco Ninja. Kiran’s love of the outdoors, Bravos, big jumps, and wrist stretching make him fit right in at MBM Camp. In the winter, Kiran attends Sir John Franklin High School and works at Bristol Pit for Ragged Riders. Keep shredding Kiran!
Kaleb Major

Kaleb has been involved with MBM for many years now, initially as a camper, then as a volunteer, and more recently as a full time coach. Outside of riding bikes, Kaleb enjoys hitting the links with his pals.
Fun fact: Kaleb is the youngest staff member to join in on an MBM Whistler trip after joining as a stowaway in a bike bag… or something like that.
